    Question Regarding Affiliate Links

I am in the process of writing up Landing Page. I've got lot of customer testimonials that are linked to post here at vBSEO. How can I include my referral code in those links (ex. $1400 in One Day with vBSEO!) so if they buy it after reading full customer testimonial here at vBSEO I can track them.

    Any idea?

    Thank You!

    okay, but a small problem.

To build your link, take the following URL and append it with the Alternate Incoming URL you want to use.

    Example: http://www.vbseo.com/1527/&url=http://www.yahoo.com
The "&url=" doesn't work but when I tried "?url=" it works.

    Code:
    http://www.vbseo.com/1527/&url=http://www.yahoo.com
    Gives Page Not Found

    Code:
    http://www.vbseo.com/1527/?url=http://www.yahoo.com
    Works!

So is "?url" proper url format to track the visitor?

    Thanks!

Since we allowed the rewriting of our affiliate program URLs the format you noted no longer works.

The & symbol is used to add additional name=value pairs to the URL.

However, the ? symbol must be present to start off the list.

So the revised format you suggested is the correct one.
