Banner Contest for the vBSEO Affiliate Program

We are pleased to announce that we are launching a Banner Contest for the vBSEO Affiliate Program.

Starting today, vBSEO forum members who wish to contribute may start posting new graphics and/or Flash banners into the following thread:

We want you to be bold, creative, and professional. Demonstate how you would reveal vBSEO to the world in graphics and text!

Remember that vBSEO is a complete SEO solution for vB forums. Graphical representations of growth in indexed pages, web traffic, unique referrals OR our CRUs, RRs and other features are encouraged to be included in your designs.

An effective banner will be both visually appealing and also communicate its message clearly.

Note: Flash banners should be emailed as an attachment to affiliates@vbseo.com.

Prizes

• The fan favorite will receive 1 FREE copy of vBSEO.
• The winners will be featured on our homepage for not less than 2 weeks with a link back to their site.
• The winning banner will be automatically included in the vBSEO Affiliate Program for use by all of our affiliates. It will include a note with a link back to the designers site in the Affiliate CP.
• Other entrant banners may be selected by the vBSEO team to include in our Affiliate Program as well. Those selected will also have a note with a link back to their site included in the Affiliate CP next to the banner they designed.

Terms

• Any vBSEO forum member is eligible to enter.
• Banner submissions and pre-judging occur for 1 week from April 27th to May 4th. After May 4th, additional submissions will not be eligible for the contest.
• On May 5th, the top 5 banners will be selected by the vBSEO team.
• A poll will then be created, allowing our members to vote for their favorite to determine the winner on May 7th.
• Once a banner is submitted, Crawlability Inc. is granted exclusive rights to the use, modification, and re-distribution of the image/files without compensation to the original designer.

Submission Guidelines

Banner submissions should be placed for public viewing in the following thread:

Standard file types including GIF, JPG, Animated GIF will be accepted. File formats should also be selected from the following:

• 468 x 60 Banner (Width x Height)
• 728 x 90 Leaderboard
• 250 x 250 Square
• 300 x 250 Inline
• 120 x 60 Column Nav
• 336 x 280 Large Rectangle
• 120 x 600 Skyscraper
• 160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper

Filesizes should be minimized and kept under 50 kb for all submissions.

Probally have to take into account the difference in time zones.

Due to a delay in compiling staff selections for the top 5 banners, voting will be extended to noon on May 9th, 2006 (forum time).
