Zoints - Driving Traffic to Your Forum with Social Networking Integration?

I was hopeful that the social networking aspect might actually deliver on its promise of new members.

As I had said previously, I dont buy into the Zoints philosophy. However, I also am not completely close minded to things I don't fully agree with or understand.

As an owner of multiple forums, I had considered giving this a go with one forum just for the purpose of testing it out. However, all of my forums are vBulletin and vBseo powered. I really don't like the idea of losing my seo'd member profile URL's when it comes to this as Brian mentioned.

I am currently using Zoints, and am happy with it.

I haven't noticed a flood of new members, and being an Adsense Pariah (banned), I don't get any revenue from it.

I'm going to see how things develop, but am currently pleased.

I was planning to install it even i get a membership and downloaded the extension but if it will not allow me to use it with seod member url's i will not install it since my memrbes love this feature.

Ace, you mentiont that you are happy with it. Can you comment on what it IS doing for you?

You say you are not getting flooded with new members. I would think that getting new members (active ones, not just registrations) is what this whole program is about. I assumed you are getting at least some registrations from this program.

I would love to hear a complete layout of exactly how you are benefiting from the program, particularly how many members you are getting directly from zoints, and how active they are on your forum as well as how it has affected the activity of the already existing members of your board.

I'm still not sold on zoints being a good thing or lasting. I guess if they keep putting $ into it, it wont leave any time soon.
