My upgrade took about 5 minutes. No template edits for me, since none of the templates I have modified were changed for this release.

If I didn't know that 363 was coming any day now then the vbseo email would have been my first sign of a new release, cool how you stay right on top of it

I'll apply the patch tonight most likely and do a full upgrade this weekend.

Updating now. Vbseo was the first way I heard about this as well.

When I update, I always close the forums. then update. Just wondering if everyone else does the same?

Since the German version isn't ready yet I need to use the patch for now, I'll do a full upgrade after the German one is released

I close the forum, run my backup scripts, upload tar.gz, unpack, move files over to live files, run upgrade scripts, open

One of my upgrades today was rather annoying. It was from 3.6.0 to 3.6.3 and has some large hacks involved.

Upgrading the other forums took about 5 minutes each.

but if they didnt, you would have your site hacked. Vbulletin does an excellent job, it took me a total of 5 minutes to update the site today. that is excellent. Im sure other forum software takes much longer to update versions then that.
