I have never used them as their client, but they submit their client site to some of my directories. What they seem to do is negotiate discount from directory owners because they buy in bulk, that is probably why they are able to offer competitive prices.

I know they do other stuff apart from directory submission, I only know a bit about directory submission aspect of their business.

1) they are waste of money.
2) they'll put your link anywhere that will take it, which will end up being counter productive for true content-to-content cross linking

there's more, but that should stop you

And do you have first hand experience of your allegations you are making? Did you buy their services or you are just a making assumptions based on the contents of their website?

I've been in this field for 10 years. I've built or had my hand in many top forums, top webstores of fortune 500 companies, etc etc. At one point, nearly all the clients have looked to these firms. The ones who did never made it. The ones who did it on their own are still around.

My assumptions are my own.

By all means, if you want to buy their services, go for it. I'm not saying they will scam you.... I just would NEVER do it on anything I own, that's for sure.

If they offer directory submissions at lower rates it is good, but at the same time it is bad as well.

If your website gets submitted to 100 directories with same anchor text and description, then it will only result in lower rankings for your website.

One should avoid automated link submissions, and the best way is to submit your website manually to different directories.
