    Zend vs. Ioncube vs. eAccelerator

I currently use eAccelerator on my Apache/PHP servers because I have found that it seems to work the best as far as reducing the load of my web servers.

Are there any plans to offer a compiled version of vbSEO for those of us who would prefer not to use Zend or Ioncube?

Re: Zend vs. Ioncube vs. eAccelerator

As a follow up to this, I'm able to get ioncube loader and eaccelerator to load on the same server at the same time.

We do intend to launch a Turk MMCache version soon. With eAccelerator, I need to look further into it.

Can you give me samples of scripts that use this type of encryption?

I'm not sure if eAccelerator supports encrypted source or not.

It is the only accelerator built into the gentoo portage system tho.

just a clarification: does vbseo works with eaccelerator?

    On my server I've:

    [admin@srv04 ~]$ php -v
    PHP 4.3.9 (cgi) (built: Jun 26 2006 09:46:03)
Copyright (c) 1997-2004 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies
with eAccelerator v0.9.4, Copyright (c) 2004-2005 eAccelerator, by eAccelerator

    Thanks

    Hello Tom,

your phpinfo doesn't show Zend Optimizer or Ioncube loaders installed, but possibly you are able to use dynamically loaded Ioncube without php config changes, please download test.php from http://www.vbseo.com/downloads/ , upload it to your server and check what is reported.

I tried both version and i think iocube one is better for server performance. At this moment i'm also trying a zend version with eAcclerator as suggested in this thread... it seems to be nice.

IonCube seems to be a lot easier to work with, and allows you to switch php caching software pretty easily (xcache) where as zend is a bum, and only likes some of the cachers.
