Exclamation Suggestion to the vbseo team

And if this is already done somewhere, I have not seen it.

I think it would be a good idea to do one of two things, maybe even both.

I am seeing an increased amount of people coming to this board who are frustrated with the product and it is simply a result of them having their forum set up wrong. (threads blocked from guest view, threads viewable for only the last month, etc...)

I am thinking one of these things could be done
    • set up instructions - before they even install the product, have them verify some of these basic settings
    • vbseo tutorial - Somewhere in the forum, maybe in the troubleshooting area, or even in multiple places so it is seen, post a tutorial that explains the proper vbulletin settings to get the maximum results out of vbseo. You could even simply link the tutorial in the setup instructions.
    Just something to think about.

Basically like a documentation forum? I am in support of this, generating a manual for vBSEO prospective, and current users to make efficient use of.

yeah, something to that effect. As it is right now, I can see someone post a question, and know it was something that has come up before, yet it takes me forever to hunt it back down.

If it were done in a forum style setup, the moderators here could even build it as needed, and new users could be directed to it when they buy the product, join the forum, or ask a question that gets asked frequently.

I fully support this initiative. We are fully aware of these issues. I will give you guys an update on this... it will either be a manual via vBadvanced (usergroup with access to editing pages) or a forum for 'how-to's, documentation, etc.'

Juan, I own the Adobe Creative Suit CS Version 1.1 and could encode any documentation from html, plain text or PHP to a PDF file, if this would be of any interest... Some people may like a downloadable copy of the instructions and a PDF could be easily created.
