Stripping of HTML Comments and spaces

There is a hack that deletes the html comments and spaces from the files before serving them. This would be a great feature to have accessable on your vbseo control panel. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...threadid=79923

However, your system does the rewrites on the fly. The above hack does the changes to the actual templates so that there is no overhead.

Possibly better to have the hack as a recommended add on rather than incorporated into your system???

I believe there will be a noticable performance overhead for html code cleanup on-the -fly.

Raises the question of what the overhead is of the current system.

Can we have an article on the extra time in milliseconds for serving a page with the vbseo system, all options being utilised.

And mention made on the time cost of individual items.

It would be great as part of the sales package to point people to such a article.

It would also give pointers as to whether it is worthwhile to have certain possibly non essential items turned on. Like whether it would be worth it to hardcode the rel=nofollows, or index.php's as compared to using your method to rewrite them.
