replacements can be turned on or off for guests

We have 2 new feature requests:

1. Replacements can be turned on or off or be set
differently for guests.

2- Replacements can be hyperlinks, however, when the word
to be replaced with a hyperlink is already a hyperlink, then to not make the change. For example, if I want the word "Movies" to link to
ticketmaster.com, I only want the link to be made when movies is not already a link itself. So that the replacement does not happen of forums home and mess up the link to the forum: "Entertainment - Movies and TV"

do you mean "Acronym expansion" feature or Relevant Replacements?

I meant "Acronym Expansion".

They are very nice to make your important keywords detected by search engines but members HATE when their words are automatically change by the program and they delibaretly use methods to bypass the change.

It would be great if a setting would make acronmys work for only guests (ie seo bots) but words are not changed for logged in members.

Acronym expansion is applied to URLs, so you can't have different settings for guests and registered users since that would lead to *different URLs* for the same page.

As for the linked replacements, you can define them with vBSEO3.1.0:

Code:

'vbseo' => 'http://www.vbseo.com'

that will turn all "vbseo" words into the link.
