Linkback Whitelist

We have a linkback blacklist, which is a very good idea. Why not a linkback whitelist? That we we don't have to moderate linkbacks from websites we trust.

Any chance that this may be considered for a future revision? I would live to be able to whitelist sites like Technorati: Home instead of having to approve each one.

Only problem is that you will have a lot of duplicate urls from forums that don't use vbseo that you will have to go through and remove or atleast I would.

I second the feature request for a whitelist.

Especially on large forums it takes very long time to go through every single linkback.

I also came here specifically to raise this issue and found this thread.

I get a lot of duplicate requests coming in anyway. I'd rather auto-approve those duplicates than have them piling up in my moderation queue.

90% of my linkbacks have come 5 different sites, so whitelisting them would make everyone's life much easier!

Is there any word from VBSEO if they think this is a worthwhile idea, and if it is planned to add this feature in future?

Me too. I think this is a great idea and can't believe that it is not already in 3.0.0. This suggestion was made around 8 months ago, so hopefully these recent posts will give it some more of a bump.

hmmm. I guess not then? Shame this would be a very useful feature as I tire of approving the same linkbacks all the time. We need some more users to put their voice behind this, we can't be the only ones who want this.

Seeing as this thread is in the feature requests forum, and has had quite a few customers requesting this feature, it would be nice if at least one member of staff would at least post on this thread acknowledging that they've seen it.

As a user option i will never want additional resources spend on a feature like this. I will prefer each coming linkback refback to my site since the referring site may contain more then 1 link option. For example if you have a referrer from a vb powered page you can receive 4-5 different url types and it will hurt you. Thats why i find this option as useless and i don'T advice anyone to approve linkbacks without checking.

what about an option in the whitelist that will include only one link from the whitelisted site? could that be possible?

I would appreciate a whitelist feature for the linkbacks, too!
