Do you have that set as "forum"?

    Hello

"Force Forum Root as Homepage?" option should be used when forums homepage is index.php only. As described in vbseocp:
When enabled, all links to your forum homepage will be directed to 'vbroot/'. If disabled, your forum homepage links will point to the 'script name' (E.g. forum.php) as defined in your vBulletin configuration settings. This allows users with high PageRank in 'index.php' to use it as their default homepage.

Ah, you meant the "File Not Found requests handling" option, right?
    Sorry, I've misunderstood you.

This is corrected now and should work fine in the next vBSEO release: the File not found redirection will point to forums homepage (forums.php).

    I have a related issue...

I have force forum root off, and the homepage is vbadvanced..... my forumhome is called forum.php

I then have a custom RR to turn that into forum/ ('^forum\.php$'=>'forum/')

The link to forums on the homepage has been rewritten fine, but when i click it, I get 'no input file specified'

    Ideas?

Don't you have physical folder with "forum" title on your server?
