I don't think Google pays too much attention to "max 100 links per page" issue. It still may be a suggestion though. There are even famous web sites with 500-1000 links (tags) included in their single pages. Anyway, i set my "search cloud" keyword limit to 50 for now and will see how it'll go with Google...
You are totally wrong about this. All big boards donot have 750 links on their sites. Sites who have numerous number of forums have that many links and it is not a good method either.

I don't know if I mis-understood this since you guys keep arguing back and forth...wouldn't this just modify the "already built-in" tags function in vb3.7? If not, then why not do that? Rather than users putting tags that they think apply to the thread, let SE's determine that. Only show maybe 5-10 of the more popular ones. If it's possible, show however many you want but do "nofollow" for the less popular ones.

I'm sure that would add another few queries doing it that way, but if the forum owner really wants it...why not?

(left side)

and thread specific google search terms:
MessengerDiscovery Live 1.4 - MsXLabs
(bottom)

not to sound like a divvy but what is the point in having thread clouds that all link to the page it's displayed on? A global cloud I can understand, but linking keywords to the same page seems a bit pointless. Maybe you should think about linking to other pages that have similar contents.

It displays the search terms that people are actually searching for. Often it's not easy to guess what anchor text should be used. This "People searched this page with..." helps solving this problem because it’s based on the live results based on what people actually searched for. It also increases the keyword density on the page. This is done with only one php script and another one for db stuff caching.

Of course it'd be better to have a system similar to this, like you mentioned:
http://forum.cindyenguy.be/index.php...topicseen.html

I'll be working on this to achieve the function above.

Now the "terms" (terms.php) are working like the "tags" (tags.php):
MessengerDiscovery Live 1.4 - MsXLabs

what do you mean by tems.php? I'm trying your mod, but there is no terms.php nor a way to get a per-thread search cloud. If I include $vbsearchcloud in my showthread template, it shows me the global search cloud.

I shared the simple version as a global search cloud mod. The one running on my site is custom code.

This feature should definitely be implementing with the next major release of vBSEO name as "Google Tagging" IMO.
