    Advanced Acronyms

    I have many threads that use a / or a " in the title of the thread. So for instance a member may write 6" tacoma lift as the thread title. The URL would end up as /6-tacoma-lift/

    I would like the URL to read 6-inch-tacoma-lift but there's no way to replace " with inch.

    Another example is a member would type in S/C meaning supercharger. I would like to replace S/C with supercharger, but my acronym is ignored, probably because the / is on the line.

    Any suggestions?

    hmm, i just tried and added a backward slash ( \ ) in front of them both (the / and ")..both added another backshlash..odd..would be nice to include special character's for the Acronym Expansion.

    Hello TyleR,

    these replacements will be working in the next vBSEO release.

    As a side notice: for the "inch" replacement, you should use '&quot' => 'inch' instead of '"' => 'inch'. And also, this "inch" replacement might be not a good idea because it is often used as a quotation mark.
