I am not a tech guy and I...

I am not a tech guy and I found something that puzzled me:
If I type: www.mysite.ro/vbseo/ (don't try the link it wont work :D ) I get the directory
More if I know exactly the files names in directories I manage to display different files, including running .php addon scripts (and receiving an error)

I have noticed that some folders are htacces protected but a few. There, is no game, all is safe.

Should it be like this? Is safe? Can I put deny all htacces file in all folders?

I am talking abut 3.5.1 and last PL1

Funny is that 3.2.2 older version hasn't this problem as back then it wasn't a vbseo directory.

Same in vbseo_sitemap/addons/ where I manage to run scripts.

I just got nailed so you can imagine my sensitiveness on this matter :D

Forgot to mention I have non English forums if this is of any help (I have set different rewriting rules than proposed ones)

Avatars don't seem to be...

Avatars don't seem to be getting the same rewrite treatment as attachments, and it seems to be leaking duplicate images out to search engines.

This comes down to two issues:

1. Avatar url's aren't getting rewritten (attachments already do this):

/image.php?userid=66&d=1272871853 should redirect to /avatars/username.gif
/avatars/username-123.gif should redirect to /avatars/username.gif
etc. None of these redirects work at the moment.

2. Avatars don't 404 or redirect to a noindex page (like attachments do)

Avatars for non-existent users AND users without a custom avatar should 404. Right now, they're passing a generic vbulletin image for the former, and a 1x1 clear image for the latter. These images are getting indexed by google and shouldn't really exist.

Thanks for the great product :D. For all the tweaking and messing I've been doing over the past few days, I'm surprised that these are the only issues I've found!

-- Happy customer
