For the past months my number of indexed pages in Google have been decreasing for some reason.
My site is VB4 using VBSEO. Any idea?

google webmaster tools is giving me this error this has only happened recently it was working fine before and i have not changed anything.. please note that opening the sitemap seems to be working fine

also there is another problem

opening my forum from the default www.layyous.com/forum/ doesn't seem to be working (on firefox and chrome but on internet explorer it is ok) while adding the forum.php works fine

como podéis ver tengo problemas con la escritura de las url no me redirecciona al lugar correcto (los tengo configurado con las URLs estándar de vbulletin) también he probado con las URLs amigables básicas, pero nada, cambian las url pero no redirecciona al sitio correcto.


Os agradecería mucho que me ayudéis con esto, ya que pienso que sera el inicio de reparar algunos otros errores que me han surgido a partir de instalar vBEO.

EDIT. mi posicionamiento global a subido como la espuma con este asombroso plugin, cuando empece era ranking 1.5 millon , ahora soy ranking 148 mil en casi 2 meses :) Worldgamez.net Site Info

folgendes Problem, für das ich einfach keine Lösung finde:

in der Kombination vBulletin 3.x und vBSEO hatte ich immer den Boardtitel in den Suchergebnissen, was auch so gewollt war. Es ging mir um Marken-Branding, deshalb habe ich diesen nicht entfernt.

Mit dem Umstieg auf vBulletin 4 haben wir uns entschlossen, die neue Standardeinstellung für die Threadtitel nicht zu verändern, so dass nun der Boardtitel nicht mehr in den Suchergebnissen auftauchte. Für diese Entscheidung war die 'Long Tail'-Optimierung im Fokus.

Nun haben wir ein Update auf die aktuelle Version 4.2.0 inkl. vBSEO 3.6.1 vorgenommen und mussten nun feststellen, dass plötzlich und für uns absolut nicht nachvollziehbar der Boardtitel wieder in den Suchergebnissen auftaucht. Folgende Stelle haben wir bereits abgescannt:

Im vBulletin AdminCP unter Einstellungen --> Homepage-Titel / URL / Kontaktinfos
Dort haben wir unter "Name des Forums" den Boardtitel eingegeben in der Form: "www.meinedomain.de"

Die Google Suchergebnisse sehen jedoch folgendermaßen aus:
"Dies ist ein Testbeitrag - meinedomain.de"

Also folgende Fragen:

1. Warum steht überhaupt der Boardtitel im Threadtitel in den Google Suchergebnissen?
2. Warum steht dort "meinedomain.de" und nicht, wie im AdminCP eingetragen "www.meinedomain.de"?

Nun könnte ich die Templates ändern, aber das muss sich doch auch anders lösen lassen.

First of all, I thank vBSEO for a wonderful product that helped us a LOT during our vBulletin days. Our traffic and revenues had skyrocketed within days of installing the plugin. The vBulletin platform itself is degrading and I doubt vB5 will really have any future.

I'm curious to know whether vBSEO team here has changed minds and have anything planned for XenForo? :)

We are on vBulltin 4.2.1 and vBSEO 3.6.1. On our member profile page with latest posts under all activity we see bad URLs in. Here is an example. View Profile: mecprolabs - Anabolic steroids, bodybuilding discussion forums. - Steroidology

In the sentence Membername_x posted in forum_x. The forum_x part of the url is bad. The more... link works fine.

Anyone else see this or did we miss something?

I have been reading about vbSEO for a while now and I realise there are some support issues. But I want to buy. BUT as there seems to be some backup and support issues I'm questioning whether I should depart with my money incase there becomes any instant problems, or if I can't download the plugin etc.

Can anyone give me peace of mind?

I've noticed the absence of H1, H2, and H3 header HTML tags in my forum. Very curious as to why this addition to VBSEO hasn't been made as the Title tag and meta keywords tags are semi and totally deprecated respectively.

Google has made many announcements in its forums and officially that H1 tags are equivalent to title and H2 & H3 are equivalent to categories and tags respectively Also, I have noticed that my wordpress blogs went up in ranking while my forum went down since these announcements.

Also webmaster tools for both Bing and Google continue to send me notices saying I need to add them. What do we do?

Buenas. Adquirí vBSEO hace un tiempo, lo instalé en el sitio y los cambios de URL ya son visibles. El problema es que no pude ingresar en ningún momento al Panel de Control del mismo. Cada vez que quiero ingresar me sucede lo siguiente:



Cualquier opción a la que quiera ingresar, tiene el mismo resultado, la misma pantalla. Tampoco puedo ingresar al "Cerrar Sesión" ni "Ir al Foro".

También, de forma local (con XAMPP), realicé una instalación limpia de vBulletin sin modificaciones con el vBSEO descargado, siguiendo los pasos exactamente, obteniendo el mismo resultado.

¿Existirá algún conflicto con las nuevas versiones de PHP, o con la versión 4.2.1 de vBulletin?

I cant use the htaccess - it gives me a This page can't be displayed error when I try to go to forumhome. Without it I cant get to http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/for...p_index.xml.gz

This might be caused because I recently moved my forum from the domain root to /forum/ directory and have redirects in place for that.

Any ideas what I can do here?

As the title says. I'm looking forward to buy vbseo when it goes on sale next, any clue when the next one will be?
