I landed on Earth 17 years ago.

Mainly got a couple of computer peripherals
+ some hard cash $$ :D as gifts.

This is my first blog post in 2008 here at vBSEO.com
The last post i made was in December.

Since then, the traffic has nearly increased 3x. (2x in the last two months) :thumbsup: Now aiming to double the traffic again in the coming 2 or 3 months and get past the 1000 UV (unique visitors) per day mark.

Recently I have created 3 new sections of my site :

1. Blog (just to express my views on the different things I learn and experience as a novice webmaster/developer)
   
   
2. Tools (what good is a webmaster related site without some good developer / designer / SEO related tools)
   
   
3. Shop (a marketplace to sell the skins and templates which me along with a designing team will make)

Btw, Number of Indexed pages in -

Google : 5500
Live : 350
Yahoo : 6700

Google : 3,870 (increase of 1k pages in a week !!! :spin:)

I'm experiencing a constant and steady influx of members. :thumbsup:

On an average, there at about 2-5 registrations per day !
And some of the traffic seems to coming from the places I least expected. :rolleyes:

And now comes the most interesting thing :

The traffic from Google search results for the month of November has increased about 500% (:spin:) as compared to that of October.

Today a spammer came on the forum and posted a couple of spammy threads.

Now when i went to "move" the threads to the trash can forum (that i have specially designated for trash, junk and spammy posts), i couldn't find any moderating option visible to me ! :spin:

All that was visible to me (for managing/moderating) a thread was delete or undelete the thread. And all other options were not available to me, even though, lol, I was the super administrator.

But hopefully, after some searching in the Forum i found a topic that helped me fix it : http://www.vbseo.com/f77/super-mods-...-longer-18340/

Saved me from opening a new thread.

Now i'll keep track of the indexed pages on the various search engines,
like Google, Yahoo and Live (MSN).

And i will post the stats over here on a weekly basis.

Yay.. ! Yay.. ! Yay.. !

I just successfully installed vBSEO 3.1.0 on my forum. :spin:

It took less than 20 minutes to finish all the work, i.e. the uploading of files, installing and configuring it completely.

The forum already had about 3k pages in the Google's index.
Lets see how it fluctuates for the first couple of weeks.
