More and more people are going to abandon vBulletin. I wonder why you advertise 'The Most Powerful Community Software' in your header, when at very best it is simply too close to call between IP.Board, especially now. vBulletin 4.0 has been released to meet a financial end of year goal for Internet Brands and it shows in the terrible quality of code they have released.

I love the product but hate how you have entrenched yourself into only vBulletin.

VBSEO is the only thing keeping me from converting Mustang Evolution to IP.Board. I simply can not afford to lose my urls that I have worked so hard to get indexed.
They most certainly do need to go to IPB board. There's not one good SEO service for IPB and with vBSEO's success with vBulletin, which appears to have gone downhill, i'm quite sure they can do good for IPB forum admins and reach that market that isn't quite being touched yet.

I doubt it, probably some sort of contract that stipulates a no no for competitors
Besides, there is plenty of PHP based Freeware boards that are equally as good. I am leaning more toward these then paying for garbage anymore

I highly doubt that the majority of vBulletin users are going to abandon ship for IP Board. That's like predicting people will abandon Porsches for raising the price and will go to Hyundais instead.

I get that there are disgruntled vBulletin license holders. I don't like the way it was all sprung on us either, and I don't like the way forum license holders were offered discounts for the full Suite but only a token discount for the core foum upgrade.

I don't like it when taxes are raised, either. That doesn't mean I'm about to give up my citizenship and move to Iran.

I've never tried IPB but I can say one thing for certain, I don't like vbulletin 4 at all.

I was annoyed by the way Vbulletin changed their licensing so drastically, but they managed to win my confidence back (for the moment)

We're moving to IPB later this year. vB 4 is simply not an option with over 2000 bugs in the bug tracker! Back in Jelsoft's days the tracker never had more than 10 bugs in there at a time!

Internet Brands are destroying this fantastic product. It should be noted that unless you've actually tried IPB 3.1 you cant say if its good or bad. I've tried 3.1 and its clearly a much better (in terms of stability and features) product that vB4 (which is really vb 3.9 as its only 'major' features are things such as a new poorly written stylevars system).
